The Pope and the President – Gdańsk honours Pope John Paul II and President Reagan

In 2012, in Gdansk, a bronze statue of President Ronald Reagan and Saint Pope John Paul II was erected to express the gratitude of the Polish Nation to ‘Them’ for abolishing communism in Poland and consequently in Eastern Europe. The strategy they used, “We win, They lose” appeared to be effective.
