Set in 1930’s Warsaw, ‘Vabank’ is one of the most notable Polish comedies, which has bagged several Polish and international film festival awards and nominations. The film’s plot revolves around Kwinto, who gets jailed on being accused of a bank robbery. Upon his release from the prison, Kwinto determines to avenge Kramer, his former partner who wrongly framed him and benefited hugely by his imprisonment. The film progresses on revenge sequences that are cleverly plotted and elegantly executed by Kwinto to reveal the truth about Kramer.
