In July 2013 artists and photographers Martushka Fromeast and Anna Udowicka from the Polish artistic group Click Academy ran an 8-day long participatory photography workshop in Syabru Bensi village in the Lamtang region of Nepal. The project provided interesting extracurricular activities for a group of young people living in Syabru Bensi village. The project aimed at preserving the local heritage of the Lamtang region and spread word about it. It was followed by the local people being interviewed under the supervision of the Polish artists to collect stories about the local Gosaikunda Lake. This was followed by photography workshops for the children who produced interesting, memorable and unique portraits of their surroundings.
